Lecturers Full time / Part-time for
Undergraduate and Post Graduate

London Academy for Higher Education is an educational establishment offering higher education and training programmes to students and corporate clients. We have partnerships / accreditations with BAC, Queen Margret University, University of London, University of Wales, ACCA, ABE, ILM, ICM( Institute of Credit Management), Edexcel(DMS) , OCR, BCS, CTH and IMIS. We are currently inviting applications for the post of full-time / part-time / evening / weekend Lecturers to teach various courses to students at graduate, post graduate level and for professional qualifications.
Areas of specialisation are;
Candidates should have a minimum of relevant postgraduate qualification; member of a professional body and research experience will be preferred. The applicant should be able to prepare course material to a high standard, set and mark assessments, guide dissertations and be able to interact with and motivate students.
OTHER DUTIES:
- To design the assignments as per the requirements of the awarding body
- To mark student assessments
- To be appraised as part of the College Appraisal Scheme
- To work co-operatively with the Co-coordinator of studies, achieve College objectives.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- A Higher degree in the relevant discipline and /or equivalent professional qualification
- Ability to undertake and guide research
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Prepared to work with the Colleges Policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively manage course(s)
- Interpersonal skills, team work
- Commitment to corporate strategic objectives
- Experience in supervising undergraduate, bachelors and masters level dissertations and assignments
- UK qualification and experience
Desirable
- Relevant industrial experience
- Minimum of five years teaching experience, teaching qualification or Higher education academy membership.
