This course is for Senior Staff

Aim of Course: At the end of this programme participants should be able to:

- identify the policy Issues relating to Funding Schemes the regulatory to Investment environment necessary to their success;
- manage administrative aspects of pension schemes;
- review and assist in the formulation of pension policy;
- consider pensions related legislation and participate in the process of revising and implementing new legislation.

Course Content:

• Different types of schemes;
• The role of Trustee and Actuaries;
• Assessment of pension liabilities;
• Methods of funding;
• Pension reforms;
• Best Practice in the Legal and Regulatory Framework of Pension Management;
• Pension Administration and the role of Pension Manager;
• Managing the Assets of the pension schemes.

Methods of Studies:

Lectures, presentations and group discussions etc.

Duration: Two (2) weeks
